March Musings '19-#SOL19/Day2

March
a time of year to write each day
with slicers in a special way-
to think, to dream, and create
nuggets of pure writing weight

March Mantra

I am ready
to write
to read widely with varied texts
to be immersed in the multitude voices of others
to strengthen my own voice
to help others find theirs
and to fully embrace life!
©CV, 2019
- My March Mantra is based on a quote by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Reflaction
(Reflection with Action Steps)

In this assembly of collective energy and fervent voices,
we shall lift each other up!

  1. Your collection of words reminds me of the percepts I have posted throughout my classroom. They are there for others, but also for me. They help me remember what's important and challenge me to continue.

  4. Chimanda Ngozi Adiche is one of my favorite writers. She spoke at NCTE this past fall, and hearing her speak was a highlight. I’ve introduced her to many students who often reference her in speeches. You could not have chosen a better mantra for the month, Carol.
