It is official! My one word, RESTORE, has opened my heart and soul as a guide on my 2026 spiritual journey. You can read more here about the steps I took to find my one word and invite my Mind and Body to engage in my under-construction plan..
The digital graphic below is my opening piece a faithful walker on the spiritual journey to revive my heart and renew my life.

This iced snow is no joke! I'm amazed that days after the storm I see adults walking on top of the snow hardened by the ice...there's no give, no sinking in to make footprints. It's just solid ice. I love that you have embraced 'restore.' I'd love a serving of it for our nation too, please!
ReplyDeleteI love how the tricube encourages multiples! Your word of the year is a brilliant one. My your soul be restored as well.
ReplyDeleteWishing you peaceful restoration this year, Carol. The perfect word for all fo us in so many ways. I laughed at "Cold wind tips the scales, no snowmen." How true is that? I love to be outside in winter, and love the winter slience, biut it is TOO cold for any of those fun things;)
ReplyDeleteHaving an "under construction" plan sounds wise! I like the idea of "deeper rest" and I especially like ending with "no snowmen." It's like a whole story in two words.
ReplyDeleteCarol, an early spring would be the best! Writing tri-cubes seems like fun. I'll have to try it. I enjoyed yours very much.
ReplyDeleteThat was me, above! I'm always forgetting to log in.
ReplyDeleteOh, Carol. The whole post offers restoration! Thank you!
ReplyDelete"with weathered wings" — oh, lovely.
ReplyDelete"Restore" is such a hopeful word, a hope-filled guide, Carol.
Love "quietude" and "weathered wings" - thank you, Carol.
ReplyDeleteCarol, I love "Restore -through life's seasons" -- Love how it speaks to nature's calling us back to itself, to replenish us, but also that the seasons of our lives give us the space to restore ourselves. Thank you for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteCarol, prayers for your restoration with the hope of spring around the corner. I have missed your words so very much. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carol, for your restorative words during what feels like a cold time in many ways. It is a power-full word and already full of poetry. I wish you light and nourishment in the days and months ahead. xo for this week. a.
ReplyDeleteNo snowmen is right! Just snowcrete around here. I really love your OLW.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic way to welcome a new year! As someone who lives in the deep south, your "Arctic Blast" evokes a grimace, but it's still wonderful. I hope your 2026 is filled with blessings!
