Springtime Rejuvenation

Springtime renews earth
with its tender touch.
Opens the flowers
bursting with joy.
Revitalizes hearts
weary from a winter sleep.

Springtime Rejuvenation

renewal
The care of the Earth is our most ancient and most worthy, and after all our most pleasing responsibility. To cherish what remains of it and to foster its renewal is our only hope.
~Wendall Berry

revitalization
One day a week I seek to rest from earthly toil and sorrow.
Revitilized, I find the strength to battle new tomorrows. ~Richelle E. Goodrich

revival
The beautiful spring came; and when Nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also. ~Harriet Ann Jacobs

reawakening
When we awaken, we find that we are part of the one great reality and we realize our union with all things. ~ Paramananda

**************

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in the year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
Jeremiah 17:7-8

The earth opens up during springtime and gifts the world with joy. Poetry expresses the feeling of rejuvenation and rebirth during National Poetry Month. My thoughts of the revival of the earth are enhanced by the beauty I see around me and so I am moved to create.
