Snow Dustings

Dust of Snow

The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree

Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

Perhaps, in this hurried pace of life,
we could slow down, notice more,
wonder and be inspired
by nature's gifts

to find our greatness.

It's Poetry Friday! Elizabeth Steinglass is hosting and offers a "Why I'm Here"
