#SOL22 March Musings Day 9: Breathe

Breathing in and exhaling in rhythmic movement allows the mind and body to slow down and feel tranquil. It has been over a year since I practiced yoga under the guidance of a certified instructor. This morning,, I indulged in the quiet of the yoga "studio" and the effect of the calming practice. After the hour spent, my spirit was energized. 


dark clouds and light rain
bring a need to cocoon
winter holds on
 winspring weather wiggles in
seasonal dispute ensues

  2. It's soooo nice to begin bringing back some previous practices. This sounds like it was lovely and very soul-calming.

  3. Your peaceful post is most welcome. Made me think about doing yoga and its calming effect. I've only returned to yoga a few times over these two years. I really need to be in a real studio, and have trouble following through when its virtual. But perhaps today I will do some poses and practice intentional breathing. Namaste.

    1. Bob, you are so right. Today, I went early to exercise class and practiced some yoga moves. This is my last day of official exercising with instructors since my cataract surgery is on Tuesday.
