Take time in nature
for reflection
and renewal...
for beginnings
and growth...
for nurturing
and discovery.

I close with gratitude for all those who helped create a successful second edition of the Abundant Autumn Gallery. The community of reflective writers has continued to grow since the first Reflect With Me Gallery of Artistic Expression in March 2014. A complete list of participants will appear at the final closing of the Gallery.

Thank you for spending some time reflecting on the beauty of autumn with its radiant colors. I look out the window seeing a monochromatic scene of soft white snowfall and feel the transition of autumn to winter. Nature brings a departure to a season that filled trying times with brilliance and inspiration to continue the walk of life.

Such beauty in all these images. I think that first image with the little one contemplating the old, broken-down truck is my favorite. I used to love finding treasures like this as a kid. My imagination would fire up and off I'd go playing for hours! Sending you lots of Christmas love and wishes for safety and good health.
ReplyDeleteLinda, the little girl is my granddaughter, Linda. She is an imaginative and curious little one. I hope the weather is sunny and warmer like it is here today. We are on the road tomorrow.
DeleteSo many gorgeous images and poems you’ve shared Carol! Fall’s spectacular colors come alive... Thanks for taking us on this journey, burnt oranges of Ireland, W Virginia, and sharing my sherbet skies!

ReplyDeleteAs you can see, Bob, I redesigned what you sent me to fit the design of the gallery. I am happy with the way it came out and thank you for contributing. I can imagine what your landscape looks like now. We got about 6 inches or more but it is very cold and driving is not advised.
DeleteWords and pictures swirl about the page leaving little doubt as to the richness of Autumnal days Carol. I love Autumn and its colour bursts and mellow days. Such an impressive season. Thanks for the reminder Carol.
