Halloween 2021 came to a close after a weekend of fun. A party, neighborhood gathering, and a parade of young children and families brought back the joy of Halloween. I found inspiration in the delight of donning a costume and enjoying each event with those family and friends.

I am so happy that you participated in the Halloween celebrations in your new home environment! I miss having little ones around for Halloween. I still buy candy even though we don't get any trick or treaters! One of my fondest memories is making costumes for our whole family! Your haiku also perfectly captured the holiday as well! Well done, Carol!
ReplyDeleteCarol, I had to laugh that you still buy candy even though there are no little trick or treaters. While my daughter does not make costumes, she dresses the family wiith a theme in mind. This year they were the cast of Frozen.
DeleteCa, what a fun way to celebrate Halloween. I would say you really got into the spirit of the day. It has been years since I dressed up for Halloween. Such lovely princesses.
ReplyDeleteI always get in the spirit of the day at Halloween, Bob! Thanks for joining me here with the little princesses.
DeleteWhat a beautiful and scary group of pictures and thoughts! :) Thank you for sharing with us!
ReplyDeleteThanks for celebrating with me, Darin.
