How will my day evolve? I am not sure but I do know that I will stop typing to greet my little grandgirls who are now relaxing with their TV shows. Thanks to my son, I have a few moments to indulge in reading friends' posts and slices. Now, I'm off to be with the grandgirls and see how the day unfolds.
Evening Thoughts:
What a wonderful day we had. It started with a morning breakfast of french toast with fruit, hot chocolate, and smiles and ended with a couple of firsts.
My 3-year-old finally realized that potty training is not a horrible process and both girls jumped into the indoor pool on their own. Being a grandma fills my heart with joy!
What a joyful and precious time you have with your grandkids. I am happy for you.
ReplyDeleteI keep thinking about weekends without them versus weekends with them. It's a beautiful opening to another day.
DeleteCarol, what a wonderful start and end to your day. Enjoy this special time with your precious granddaughters.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bob. We're going to the pool in a while for some fun.
DeleteSuch precious moments with the granddaughters! I love reading yoru slices about them.
ReplyDeleteStacey, thank you for stopping by and offering your thoughts. I am way behind in writing due to grandparent sitting. The pattern of falling asleep while writing at night is happening daily even when I start after dinner. l
