Have you ever thought of your life as a series of six-word memoirs. "A Day in Six-Word Memoirs" is an interesting format being used as a writing prompt on Two Writing Teachers. I am not sure who shared the format but I thought it was a good way to reflect on a day. (If you know who offered this format, please let me know.)

Sending healing and healthy vibes your way as you prepare for surgery. This six word memoir format is brilliant. The addition of the word art created a helpful convergence.
ReplyDeleteBack from surgery-groggy and relying on only one eye so thanks for the healing vibes, Tenille.
DeleteCarol, I like the six-word format. it really succinctly summarizes what is happening. I especially like, "New lens, new view on life".
ReplyDeleteBack from surgery-can't see with the new lens - old one is weak. Thanks for stopping by, Bob. This is like getting a get well greetings from you.
DeleteThinking of you today, glad to hear you are recovering well! These six word memoirs are great; I really like the four transition words/statements: Now, Appreciate, Must, Positivity (actually, reading these in isolation is a bit like their own poetry, too!)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this twist on the 6-word memoir, Carol. I am definitely going to try it.
