Writing challenges have been the rage of the poetrysphere on Twitter. Why not, afterall, it is National Poetry Month!
Time to sharpen my pencil, find some space for word weaving, and create a new tapestry. With the Winter Whisperings Gallery launched on Thursday night it is time to celebrate poetic voice at my Poetry Parade.
I celebrate Digital Poetry this week with the #digilit writing community, created by Margaret Simon. Leigh Anne Eck created this lovely logo to mark the celebration.
I have been immersed in daily poetry writing and celebrate the experience of participating in challenges, such as Mary Lee Hahn's PO-EMotions.
I celebrate my family coming together this weekend. The house is quiet at the moment but happiness (Mary Lee's word of the day) is flowing.
HAPPINESS
Blanket of warmth wraps
family from near to far
tucked into my heart.
I celebrate the launching of a new 2-state Twitter chat, #NYALedchat that will air on Monday night, April 20, 2015 at 8:30 pm EST/9:30 pm CST. The topic is Celebrating Blogger's Voice. NYEDChat and ALedchat are bringing together bloggers who are interesting in making a difference to the table. I invite all interested bloggers and writers to join the conversation.
There is so much to be thankful for in this world and I am grateful that Ruth Ayres has a space, Celebrate this week, for reflective writers to celebrate life.
Enjoy life this week!
